As a person who is acne-prone myself, it has always been a struggle finding a moisturizer that will not cause more breakouts and clog my pores. There's a misconception that if you are oily, you do not need to apply a moisturizer. If you skip moisturizer, your skin will dry out and in turn, ramp up oil production, which can actually cause more breakouts. This under-moisture/over-oil producing situation will be a "vicious cycle." Of course, the last thing you want to do to your oily skin is slather it with a heavy, thick, greasy moisturizer. The right formula can mattify, brighten, and clear your skin.
My rule of thumb when it comes to moisturizers is to avoid moisturizers containing Denatured Alcohol as it can dry out your skin in a long run and irritate the skin. Also, it is great to go for moisturizers with minimal or no fragrance (be careful with the essential oils as well as those are even more irritating). If you’ve got acne-prone or oily skin, i recommend a thin layer of a lightweight moisturizer on top of your toner and serums.
Less is more, unless your skin is seriously dry or dehydrated! I analyze the ingredient list and test most of the products on Fickle Beauty on my own skin (yup i'm the human guinea pig for FB), i now have a variety of moisturizers which i personally had a good experience with and i hope you find your holy grail moisturizer from the list below!
1. Make P:rem Cicapro Refresh Light Cream, SGD$28
The Make Prem Cicapro Refresh Light Cream is a moisturiser that provides a lot of hydration in a very light gel cream. It gets absorbed very quickly on the skin and leaves a nice smooth finish. It’s made from natural ingredients, such as Madecassoside derived from Centella Asiatic, which will not only moisturise your face and skin but also strengthen and soothe it with natural anti-inflammatories.
It also contains glycerine to keep the moisture locked in, probiotics to feed your skin and Bamboo water hydrate to help energise and revitalise your complexion.

2) COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In Cream, SGD$26
My skin LOVES Snail Secretion, and i find best results when i apply this on top of the Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence. Snail secretion is humectant, emollient, antimicrobial, antioxidant-rich, and contains collagen and elastin, among other skin-friendly components. It has wound healing abilities and shows promise for the repair of photo-aged skin and atrophic acne scarring. It may also have long-term anti-aging and skin-smoothing benefits.
Although it is quite a thick cream, it does get absorbed very quickly and nicely.
The Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream is a very nourishing and moisturizing cream that endows energy and beauty to the skin with its 92% pure snail secretion filtrate, gathered from living Korean snail. The cream is safe for usage on the skin, consisting of excellent skin-activation components that treat irritated skin and improve uneven skin tone. The only thing i do not like is that it comes in a tub hence it can be a little inconvenient and not to mention, not the most hygenic. CHANGE THE PACKAGING ALREADY PLEASE!
I love COSRX for it's minimal and no nonsense ingredient list products because it makes identifying and eliminating ingredients SO MUCH EASIER.

3) Benton Aloe Hyaluron Cream, SGD$24

Last but not least, how can i not feature the brand which Fickle Beauty started with, HD Fly Up! I was truly blessed and lucky to have come across this brand and be the first to sell in in Singapore. It was all because of this brand that made me go in depth into skincare and look into ingredients more.
