$7.00 $14.00

Have you experienced essential oils in spa treatments or bath and body care products? These uses are only part of the remarkable essential oils story. Essential oils have been used for thousands of years for their wonderful cosmetic properties. Primarily extracted through careful steam distillation, but also through cold pressing, the purest essential oils are far more powerful and effective than dry herbs, delivering quick and effective results.
Any time you hold a bottle of our powerful essential oils, you are holding the pure essence of botanicals that can be diffused, inhaled, applied topically, and incorporated into massage:

BERGAMOT

Bergamot Essential Oil is one of my favorite citrus oils to enjoy in the diffuser and to mindfully use in topical applications.

The aroma of Bergamot Essential Oil is reminiscent to that of Orange Oil but it is wonderfully more complex. It almost seems to possess an underlying floral characteristic to it, most likely due to its composition of the ester Linalyl Acetate.

Bergamot Essential Oil may be helpful when used mindfully during periods of depression, sadness or grief. Unlike other citrus rhind essential oils that are commercially available, Bergamot Oil contains approximately 30% Linalyl Acetate, and ester that can have a calming or soothing effect.

CHAMOMILE

Roman chamomile essential oil is one of the most versatile of all oils used in aromatherapy, coming only second, in my humble opinion, to our beloved lavender. It is a powerfully soothing and calming oil which imparts this quality to both physical and emotional conditions alike. Although more expensive than lavender, a little goes a long way with this oil and its calming and sedating properties will out-perform lavender any day of the week.

Although this oil does not contain the large amounts of chamazulene found in German chamomile it still has a noticeable anti-inflammatory effect that soothes sprains and swellings when used with a cold compress. Aching muscles and joints benefit tremendously to massage, baths and compresses using this essential oil. It has an antispasmodic effect that is highly effective for soothing abdominal or period cramps as well as nausea.

During the hay fever season Roman chamomile essential oil offers some welcome relief to sufferers when inhaled from a tissue due to its anti-allergen effect. It offers similar relief to allergic rhinitis and dust allergy sufferers, bringing soothing comfort to irritated and inflamed nasal passages. In a similar way it calms and soothes the airways for asthma sufferers too.

And finally, when vaporised it is the perfect oil to quieten noisy children, angry partners and your frazzled nerves - without inducing a catatonic state. That sounds to me like aromatherapy at its absolute best!

JUNIPER BERRY

Some involved in energy work and crystal healing use Juniper Berry Essential Oil to cleanse and clear crystals (however, be careful as some crystals are extremely fragile or porous, and undiluted Juniper Berry Essential Oil could possibly damage them).

Juniper berries are a natural antiseptic, as is the essential oil. It may help combat acne when used at low dilutions in skin care applications. A room mist/air freshener made with Juniper Berry Essential Oil may help to kill airborne germs.

Emotionally, Juniper Berry Essential Oil is calming and helps to ease stress without imparting the sedative effects that clary sage and the chamomiles are known for. Spiritually, Juniper Berry Essential Oil used in a room mist, diffuser or candle burner cleanses and purifies the air. It is a good choice for use during prayer or meditation. I prefer to use Juniper Berry Essential Oil in a candle diffuser instead of a nebulizer.

LAVENDER

Lavender Oil has a beautiful, versatile aroma. It is anti-bacterial and is a must-have for your first-aid kit. Its calming and sedative properties make Lavender Essential Oil a wonderful oil to help relax, fight stress and to promote sleep. And when properly diluted, it's amongst the safest of essential oils.

Lavender Essential Oil is a floral, but I've spoken with men that love the aroma, especially when combined with other oils. For men's blends, try blending Lavender Essential Oil with oils from the citrus, mint and conifer families.

Lavender Essential Oil is well known for its sedative properties and for its ability to help calm stress and anxiety and to help promote sleep. If used in excess, however, Lavender Oil can actually act as a stimulant.

Lavender Essential Oil is a great oil to use for children's minor cuts and scrapes because it is anti-bacterial, calming and is considered safe enough to use with children when diluted adequately.

VETIVER

Using vetiver oil in a diffuser while you sleep could help improve your breathing patterns. Vetiver oil increased the quality of exhalation and decreased inhalation when sleeping study participants detected it. This could mean vetiver oil could help people who snore heavily.

Vetiver oil may help you if you experience anxiety. It is observed in rats that were exposed to vetiver oil through inhaling its scent. The subjects of the study appeared to be more relaxed after vetiver oil exposure. Human trials are needed to understand the mechanism vetiver oil uses to treat anxiety

LEMONGRASS

Lemongrass Essential Oil is so lemony, fresh, invigorating and uplifting, and it was an important essential oil for me to begin with.

If you're looking to work with an essential oil that has an intensely strong lemon aroma, Lemongrass Essential Oil is for you. It's a beautiful essential oil to work with if you are looking for an essential oil that can help give you an emotional boost when life is challenging. It's wonderful to include in blends for use when you are emotionally or physically lethargic or when you need help focusing.

YLANG YLANG

Emotionally, Ylang Ylang Essential Oil is heralded for being helpful with stress and anxiety. It's also used in cases of depression or when trying to cope with anger. I use Ylang Ylang Oil in blends intended to focus upon happiness, gratitude and celebrating blessings. Ylang Ylang is also considered an aphrodisiac.

For Chakra work, Ylang Ylang Essential Oil is said to help balance the Sacral and Solar Plexus Chakras.

Topically, Ylang Ylang Oil has been praised for helping combat acne and oily skin. It may help with alopecia (hair loss).

Be careful when first using Ylang Ylang Essential Oil as it can cause headaches for some individuals, especially if diffused in high concentration.
