Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a natural substance distributed widely within skin tissues, complementary cells, and collagen fibers. It retains water, enhances skin volume, and keeps skin hydrated, glowing, and elastic, but starts to diminish as one ages; under such circumstance, skin can become dull, dry, and wrinkled.

HA is widely used in cosmetics for its high compatibility.
